Thousand Foot Krutch — War of Change

Went to go see this movie last night with my Dad and a friend.  It was an EXTREMELY good movie.  Very very very realistic.  The Hurt Locker doesn’t even hold a candle to it.  It is a strong reminder of the sacrifice that is made each and every day for us, to preserve our lives and our nation.  I love that there was no crappy political influence or screw ups involved either.  It was purely from the soldiers point of view.  Very straightforward.  I honestly broke a few tears at the end just because of how scary it all is.  What these men do.  Horror movies aren’t scary.  What is truly horror is what the men and woman of our armed services have to live with each and every day.  What’s scary is knowing that at any minute you could get a call, or somebody could come to your door, telling you that you’ll never get to see your loved one again.  What is scary is growing up without a father because he gave his life for his fellow soldiers and his fellow Americans. 

This movie is crystal cut real.  I don’t care if you’re male or female, pro-US or anti-US or anything in between.  I DO NOT CARE WHO YOU ARE!  You NEED to see this movie.

So I’m on a Skrillex and all things Dubstep spree this week, thanks to my buddy Andrew informing me that his new EP “Bangarang” comes out tomorrow!  I’ve always loved techno, but when I discovered dubstep, it was like the heaven of all things electronica! 
So enjoy this bit of amazing work of computers here.

Just legally downloaded the new album, “Kingdoms” from Life In Your Way. 

Sounds sick so far!  With just one small issue… like most new Christian metal artists I listen too, I have not a clue what they are saying…
So I will be doing some lyric surfing very soon :P
