This song reminds me of quite a few people I’ve known in my life.
that’s why I love ABR. I don’t care if you can’t understand the lyrics without reading them, the lyrics here are deeper then any piece of crap you’ll hear on the radio today.

They have heart and meaning.  They talk about REAL things.  THINGS OF THE SOUL.  Not how much money you got, or how many “shorties” you got hanging around you.   No cars, no drugs, no sex.  NOT ALL OF THAT BULL CRAP!  It’s real music, because it talks about real feelings and issues.  The crap you always hear on the highly numbered radio stations?  That’s people bragging.  That’s not music!  That’s obnoxious people who are so obsessed with themselves.  They don’t write the song for you! They write it for the money.  Some of these groups, like ABR.  They write the music for their listeners.  They want to make a point.   They want to make a message.  They want to warn people, of mistakes they made.  They’re like parents without all the nagging.  XD 

They are the people WORTH listening to.  I DON’T CARE IF YOU CAN’T UNDERSTAND THEM WITHOUT LOOKING UP THE LYRICS.  Are you going to sit there and tell me you honestly haven’t looked up the lyrics to songs as simple as something from a mellower band like… idk Mumford and Sons??? or just any of that softer stuff you can actually hear?  You look up the lyrics anyway.  Don’t lie.  You don’t want to be wrong.  If you can waste your time doing that, what excuse do you have to not look up lyrics for songs like these?  To see a stronger message?  TO SEE A FREAKING POINT BEING MADE!  And made well. 
No seriously.  If you got an answer for me, please give it to me. 

This is why I listen to Metal.  It’s the most heartfelt music I’ve ever seen.  and I’m not after all that death and violence bull crap either.  Of course most all my music is Christian, but even if it wasn’t, I wouldn’t go off listening to bands that talk about all the senseless insanity and lust for killing etc. etc.  I stopped listening to bands like Disturbed and Slipknot for that reason. 

They scream, because they are desperate for you to hear!  They scream because what they’re talking about is so close to their heart.   They scream because it has meaning.  They scream because they could humanly have no other way to express it.  They scream….. because it sounds freaking awesome!  XD  But more so for the other points.

If you don’t normally listen to metal or screamo or hardcore or whatever the heck you label this music and artists similar as, I’m begging you here when I say just go out on your own effort and listen to a few.  Just look up a few bands and find the lyrics.  Turn it down if you think it’s too loud.  BUT JUST READ WHAT THEY HAVE TO SAY.  Trust me, after a few readings, it sticks in your mind.  The stuff gets to you, because it’s so REAL!  That’s how I’d describe metal.   Real.  Real music, with real meaning.  It’ll grow on you somewhere in that heart of yours, I’m sure! (:

Seriously!  I am ready.  I sitting here listening to For Today and I’m ready for Holy War.  I feel unstoppable.  I know I stand with an army that is eternal.  I sweat and scream for my Lord.  I will fear nothing.
